Salila ShenMaster Relationship Coach
What I OfferI provide Life & Relationship Coaching for Individuals and Couples. I support individuals to identify what they want to change in their lives, clarify the steps they need to take, and maintain the momentum they need to create the life they want. I coach singles and couples who want to create loving, conscious and fulfilling relationships as well as to learn effective relating skills. I welcome clients of all sexual orientations into my practice. How I CoachI offer my clients a safe and compassionate space in which to go through a process of inquiry and self-discovery. As I listen, reflect back what I hear, and ask questions to evoke self-knowledge, my clients gain clarity about where they want to go in their lives. Together we design a strategy with weekly action steps. I encourage my clients to be both creative and realistic. I am intuitive, direct, honest, and take sensitive risks in telling my clients what I see. I am committed to helping clients see what is, and take steps to create what they want. Who I Coach
What Clients Say
Professional Training & CertificationsI received my professional coach training from Coach University – one of the first training organizations for the coaching profession. After graduating from CoachU, I was trained in relationship coaching for singles and couples by the Relationship Coaching Institute. In 2002, I was the first coach to receive the highest certification offered by the Institute – Master Relationship Coach. In 2004, I completed the clinical training in Imago Relationship Therapy, and am a Certified Imago Educator. I have been coaching clients since 1997, and am a member of the International Coach Federation. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work, and hope to eventually become a Marriage & Family Therapist. Other InterestsIn addition to my passion for helping clients create conscious and fulfilling relationships, I am interested in spirituality and in self-care. On the spiritual side, I am a student in The Ridhwan School. “The Diamond Approach is the spiritual teaching, the path, and the method of the Ridhwan School… As a contemporary spiritual teaching, the Diamond Approach to Inner Realization considers the totality of the human being. It is a path of self realization and human maturity based on an original synthesis of modern discoveries in the field of psychology and a new paradigm about spiritual nature” (http://www.ridhwan.org). The teaching and practices of The Ridhwan School have had a profoundly transformative effect on my personal development. On the self-care side, I am interested in supporting optimal health & wellness, and am a distributor of supplements. You can learn about these by clicking on the “Optimal Health” link at my website.
